Di tutto il calderone del primo bellissimo periodo del post punk inglese dei primi 80's sopratutto quello indicato come la bat cave scene,ossia le bands che animavano le lugubri notti in questo storico locale inglese.
I Blood & Roses di Dave Roberts (gia bassista dei sex gang children)
Fecero intravedere nella loro pur breve esistenza un potenziale dal valore assoluto.
Accostatandosi al suono punk virato in oscuro di bands seminale come i crisis (poi death in june) o gli americani 45 grave ed orientandosi sui influenze blues garage o power pop come i lords of the new church insegnavano all'epoca.
Prima che il tornado HC mi prendesse in pieno,durante i miei primi 14 anni di vita le mie trombe di eustachio si dilettavano costantemente con gruppi come questi,in primis alien sex fiend,punishment of luxury,march violets s'haters,play dead.
Ma loro con un solo album attivo ed alcuni EP mi intrigavano molto ed in particolare 3 brani (qui inclusi)mi provocavano piaceri ed emozioni inennarrabili "love under will","Some like hot","enough is never enough".Da riscoprire ed ascoltare con attenzione.
